Hello! My name is Rachel Pina and I’m a Sarasota based artist who has been studying illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design since August 2021. Along with my passion for illustration, I’ve also been involved in the world of performing arts for the last 18 years. I’m a trained dancer and former dance teacher. My interest in costume design comes from my love of being on stage and working with performers. As a costume illustrator, my goal is to create costumes that are not just aesthetically pleasing, but also practical and comfortable for performers to be wearing in any and all types of scenarios. My other interests include children’s book illustrations and surface design!
